I was born in England, brought up in South Africa, and have also lived in France and Zimbabwe. I now live with my husband, 4 dogs, 2 cats and assorted hens on a small-holding on the beautiful west coast of Scotland. On a good day we can see across to the Isle of Jura.
Before becoming a full-time writer I worked as an au pair, secretary, teacher and accountant. I am a long-time member of the Romantic Novelists’ Association and (for my sins) am currently serving on the Committee as Membership Secretary. I am part of the Young Adult writing collective Paisley Piranhas and also blog with other writers (and one photographer) on Novel Points Of View.
When not writing, I like to walk through the wild and often wet Argyll countryside or, if it gets too wild, stay inside and read. I also enjoy travel, my current favourite destinations being France and South Africa or anywhere in Scandanavia. I love learning new things and am about to embark on a Masters Degree in Applied Economics, because – well, why not?
